The Pahal Uttarakhand Home Guard App was launched on 6 December 2022 by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on the occasion of Home Guards & Civil Defence Foundation Day. This innovative mobile application is designed to provide mental health support, counseling services, and self-help resources to Home Guard volunteers across Uttarakhand. By integrating psychological assistance directly into smartphones, the app strengthens the emotional resilience, wellness, and preparedness of personnel serving in challenging civil defence and public safety duties.
